The Paleo Diet – Infographic

The Paleo Diet. Otherwise known as the caveman diet. The general approach is don’t eat anything that a caveman wouldn’t eat. Now, we’re not talking about woolly mammoths. It basically means you can eat meat, nuts and fruit etc but nothing processed. So no bread, sugars and so on.

We’ve evolved from a hunter gatherer society to a farming one. I remember reading about the discovery of fossilised stone-age human footprints that were left during a hunt. According to the length of the stride, these were the modern day equivalent of super-human athletes.  As fast, if not faster than Usain Bolt at full sprint speed. Incredible. Watch out Bolt, I’m on this diet! From Dr Vita.
